I am thrilled to FINALLY be blogging this gorgeous Farmville, Virginia wedding. Not only was I the photographer for this wedding, I was also a bridesmaid!

Jessica and Cabell’s wedding was so refreshing. The day went flawlessly and we were surrounded by their amazing friends and family. I am so incredibly happy for these two. Cabell and Jess are my high school friends and I was thrilled to find out they were engaged. Jessica is the sweetest and most caring person I know. She truly listens with the intent to understand anything you are going through versus just spouting out a reply.It makes her one of the best friends a girl can have. Cabell walks into a room and people gravitate towards him. With Jess by his side, they make quiet the duo.

The wedding was filled with lots of love…and purple, tons of purple! It seriously could not have been a more beautiful day. Although the sun was shining on us brightly, we had the a sweet autumn breeze to keep us cool. The ceremony took place on a little lake with the sweetest dock. Thank goodness it was sturdy because there were a lot of people standing on that dock! I was so thankful to have my good friend Harli there to take all of the pictures of the ceremony while I stood up there with Jessica and all of the other bridal party members.

The reception was full of paper lanterns and yummy cupcakes. Yes, there were cupcakes and they were addicting. Our high school drama teacher made a wonderful speech and then requested that Footloose be played. We all got our butts to the dance floor and boogied all night long. It’s very easy to say that we all had a blast.

Jessica and Cabell, I wish you both all of the happiness in the world. Your wedding was absolutely magical and I am so proud to have been your photographer. Even more I was so honored to be part of your bridal party to celebrate with you. Hope you love your pictures 🙂
