I didn’t meet Emalee & Josh in person until their engagement session. I actually met them on a video session and sometimes that isn’t the easiest way to get to know a couple. That was NOT the case with these lovebirds. It was instant, I knew the first time that Emalee laughed that this couple was meant for me.

Emalee is that sweet and caring soul. Her laugh is contagious and she makes you want to smile as she tells you about her day and how she a Josh fell in love. Josh…is silent. I actually was warned about him before our session because Emalee swore he wasn’t really going to say anything. Well, she was wrong…thankfully! But I give credit to the fact that I can probably hold a compelling conversation with a tree! Josh speaks with purpose and truly makes Emalee laugh.

Emalee and her bridesmaids got ready at the venue as the boys helped set up. There was giggling and laughter for hours. The boys hung out in the basement and I remember them giving Josh a hard time about his special day finally being here.

As Emalee walked down the aisle everyone’s eyes turned towards hers as she was so stunning. I was lucky enough to have a few moments to turn to Josh first. In those few seconds you saw him cry at the sight of his gorgeous bride walking to him. That moment was utterly perfect.

Emalee & Josh. Your gorgeous day took my breath away and I loved getting to know your family and friends. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms and allowing us to celebrate with you. It’s a day we will never forget.
