Hey there! I am Heather. A Richmond local and Sugar Shack Donut enthusiast. This is my little home where I write about long lasting love, foodie locations you HAVE to visit, renovations, and DIY projects.
Where to begin! I met Jessica and Cabell in high school when I moved to a little town called Goochland. YES, Goochland… It was my junior year of high school and I found myself gravitate toward the theater kids. That’s where these friendships began. I have known these lovebirds for 8 years and when I heard they were dating I knew it was a perfect match. As we talked at Panera, Jess told me of a tragic first date they had 10 years prior. Of course they were so young at that point and I always hear the quote “the best things come to those who wait!”
These two are such opposites but at the end of the day have SO much in common. Jessica has that sweet and introverted personality. You often have to ask her opinion to figure out what she is thinking, only to find that she has a very rational and well thought out plan for everything.ย Cabell has a bold and outgoing personality. He is quick, witty, and always leaves you laughing. Together they are the perfect match. I can not express how electric their chemistry is. Jess told me that sometimes she feels a little awkward in front of the camera but BOY LET ME TELL YOU!! Together these two are magical. I barely had to coach them through their session. It was full of laughter and snuggling.
Jess & Cabell, I am so unbelievably happy for you guys. Fate has brought you guys together and it’s absolutely wonderful ๐
I do not know what type of tree this is BUT isn’t it stunning. This ring looks amazing perched in it’s branches!
This picture gets me every time! I texted Jess at LEAST twice saying how amazing these pictures were turning out. All of that laughter was captured and I loved seeing their real relationship ๐
Oh my gosh! This is my favorite! It gives me chills EVERY time. I love that simple moments when both the bride and groom are not even worrying about me and truly are just having a moment together!
Uh Oh! A leaf throwing battle almost started….they are such kids at heart ๐
GREAT PICTURES!! That bush with the berries is a pyracantha bush.
