Santa…SANTA!! I know him. I know him.

Christmas is by far my favorite! The weather, the holiday, the crazy hustle of christmas shopping and of course spending time with my family. This year has been a little different as we are all still trying to recover from my sister’s amazing wedding. Christmas has been low key this year, which I prefer. We didn’t have crazy amounts of presents and with my part time job I couldn’t afford to splurge this year. BUT!! I have been writing letters to my family each year. I honestly love doing that because it tells them how I feel about them and even though we are a loving family we don’t express it enough.

Christmas Eve this year was crazy. All of us had to work and that NEVER happens. In my 23 years of existence we have all been together. Most of you may not think this is a big deal and we can just move past it but it was almost a tramatic experience. Dad, Lindsay, and I had to work ALL day and mom was left home alone. We normally wake up and eat a nice breakfast and then get Shaylie presents at Petsmart. Olive Garden is a MUST and then we go home to get ready for church. By the time I reached church this year the entire family was a mess. We were not used to this type of schedule and realized that we had missed such a vital day. I had lost hope last night…I swore that my christmas was ruined and that it couldn’t possibly get better.

I was happily surprised to see this morning made up for last night. Christmas truly is magical and I found that my mood had changed and my favorite day was here. I didn’t care about the presents. I didn’t care about the breakfast. All I wanted was family time…and I got it. I hope all of you have a MERRY MERRY Christmas!!

This is my favorite Christmas decoration. I found it on a Pier One commercial and the voice of it was Phil and Lil from Rugrats. I seriously cannot stop laughing when this commercial came on so I went on shopping trip to try and find it! I did and it comes out every year!!
