Happy Mother’s Day to all you Moms out there! What a special day it is for you! I am going to share what I did with my mom today.

My mom loves traveling and trying new things so my mom, sister and I traveled to Charlottesville, Virginia to try some of our amazing wineries. We decided on Jefferson Vineyards which is breath taking in itself. Many couples and families were out having picnics and enjoying a bottle of wine. We instantly did a quick wine tasting!

As a group we all agreed on a wine (which never happens) and had a small picnic of our own. It was a quick trip but we needed to get home (My Dad was cooking a surprise meal for Mom!) but we made an emergency stop for a little shopping in the town of Charlottesville 🙂

We came home to a great feast of BBQ Chicken and Ribs with Broccoli Salad and Macaroni Salad! Needless to say, my mother was a happy girl! We surprised her with some fun gifts that I bought at Franchesca’s…which is a PERFECT place for gifts of any kind!
