Hey there! I am Heather. A Richmond local and Sugar Shack Donut enthusiast. This is my little home where I write about long lasting love, foodie locations you HAVE to visit, renovations, and DIY projects.
Ok…so you are going to call me crazy. I never thought that I was one of THOSE dog owners who talked to their dog in a funny voice at high pitched levels that drove everyone insane. Well, I am not the only one who does that in my household. My sister is a main culprit as well! We like to talk for Shaylie…as if she doesn’t bark enough!!! This everyday occurrence starts with the same phrase. “My life is full of trials and tribulations!”. Lindsay and I will talk through our yorkie’s morning, afternoon, and evening struggles. Typically, the conversation goes to her sleeping, eating, and squirrel chasing abilities. Also, her dislike for everyone in our family and how she doesn’t get any attention!! I’m sorry to anyone who has to deal with this on a daily basis but it is REALLY funny and Shaylie gets riled up too!!! For both Lindsay and I, it’s our chance to relax and remember that we both can have light hearted moments. I know I always feel so much better after our new “I got to talk to you” moments. Check out these pictures of Shaylie…She looks so angry but she is actually enjoying a blow dry from her bath.
