Finding a Balance

                                            1457654_2116420481298_1352454793_n

It’s bizarre to think that 1 year ago I was just graduating from college and working at my “home away from home” called Westview on the James. I remember trying to figure out my future and what it would hold for me. Now I am trying to balance a full time job, being a wedding photographer, spending time with friends and family, and DATING!!!

There is no simple way to say this about myself but I need structure…I hate structure but I need it. I am very good at doing my own thing and having a schedule sometimes doesn’t happen. BUT, there are many things that I have to make time for and keep up with (One of them blogging).

Things I do to manage my time:

1.Write it down: Not only write it down but I have to jot a note somewhere I know I will see it. This means that it’s already on my mind and when I see it I want to cross it off the list

2.List your priorities: I have an ongoing list of things I want and need, who I need to call, and trying to find personal time. Life is about balance and I could work myself to the bone if I had to BUT we only have one chance to choose what is important and a priority.

3.Breathe: A lot of the time I am my own worst enemy. I will worry myself over a small incident or something that really bothers me. I heard someone say that we only remember the good times. We don’t really remember the small things that we worry over.
