Hey there! I am Heather. A Richmond local and Sugar Shack Donut enthusiast. This is my little home where I write about long lasting love, foodie locations you HAVE to visit, renovations, and DIY projects.
I have waited for this wedding to happen for over a YEAR! It feels like time stands still when you are looking forward to something so sweet and special. When I first met Jenna, it was at a Richmond bridal show and I loved her INSTANTLY! I knew she was someone I wanted to be friends with and truly get to know. My gut feeling about her was SO RIGHT! Jenna is my type of girl. Soon after, I met Hunter and he was so kind and patient with me as I taught them all about posing. This couple is super unique and creative! When it came to pictures they knew what they wanted. As we met I found out their wedding colors, coral and navy! Jenna did an amazing job incorporating this through the entire wedding. I knew once we started talking that this was going to be a wedding of my dreams and I WAS ONLY THE PHOTOGRAPHER!
The day came and it was a long one! Ben and I arrived at 10:30 and helped out where we were needed. I became so close to Jenna that I was invited to their brunch with all of the bridesmaids and close family friends. It was such an honor to be able to capture those times as well. The rain made a small apearance BUT only lasted for about 5 mintues as an angry cloud passed RIGHT as the ceremony was about to start!
Jenna’s dress was to DIE FOR! I am so jealous of this girl. SHEESH, everything was beautiful and I have to admit I did tear up on a few occasions. Once the reception hit everyone was ready to DANCE!!! Even Ben and I were able to go and show our moves.
Jenna & Hunter, you have been an absolute blessing. I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon and come back to see these pictures. Your wedding was amazing and I can only hope to have more brides and weddings like yours.
Much love!
-Heather
